The 3d source file is an intellectual property of the artist. As a client you only own the final output in image/video/VR formats.

How to understand this?

The artists spends a lot of his lifetime to experiment and learn new techniques to achieve the quality they desire. Artist think selling the source file is selling their entire experience, techniques that makes their quality stand out. Usually they say a big no to it.

Special cases.

A few artist do sell the source file for an additional charges apart from the charges you for renderings. It will be typically 2-3 times the price you pay for renderings. If you really want the 3d source file you may need to tell in prior us during the initial brief, so we can get you an artist who offers 3d source file. We cant guarantee if you ask us during the production. It is subject to artist's terms.
